Currently
we offer two Chardonnays, our yearly Chardonnay,
which we have been producing since 1990, and a special Signature
Edition. Both wines come from grapes grown on our own vineyard,
Aquarius Ranch, which lies in the Russian River Valley appellation.
By growing our own grapes, we control the entire process, from the
growing of the grapes until the wine is bottled.
Chardonnay
is our trademark wine. It has done well in competitions, winning
many gold medals, including a double gold at the 2002 El Dorado
County Fair Wine Competition. It won the White Wine Sweepstakes
at the 1998 Los Angeles County Fair and received at 99 point rating,
Double Gold, and Best Russian River Chardonnay at the California
State Fair. The 2000 Chardonnay is highly recommended by The Beverage
Testing Institute.

Our
Pinot Noir is also grown in our vineyard, Aquarius Ranch. The vineyard
borders the Russian River and our grapes thrive in the rich soil.
This wine is delightful, with aromas of cherry and a spicy earthiness.
This wine is considered an exceptional value for a single vineyard,
handcrafted Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
Our
Pinot Noir is highly sought after and therefore always sells out
quickly. Our next vintage will be 2007, but its release date is
yet unknown. Please call us if you would like to be one of the first
to receive our Pinot when it is released.

We
carefully create this custom wine with a combination of Cabernet
Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Combining varitals allows us to balance
flavors to create a full bodied experience. Interplay is a deep
red-purple in color and medium full-bodied with falvors of black
plum, raspberries, and toasty oak.

Our
Merlot grapes are grown in our vineyard, Aquarius Ranch, along the
Russian River. The near-perfect growing conditions in our vineyard
allows the grapes to slowly develop. The wine has aromas of berries,
spices, and toasty oak. Medium bodied with layers of chocolate, cherries,
currants, and clove. This wine has been awarded an 87 point rating
by the Wine Enthusiast (September, 2002) and is highly recommended
by The Beverage Testing Institute. This wine appeals to even those
who generally don't like Merlot! |

With
ample, yet soft tannins, this wine is a fine example of a medium-full
bodied Syrah. It is deep red-purple in color with flavors of berries,
black currant, and toasted spice. The grapes are grown on a hillside
vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Late ripening contributes
to its depth of flavor. Only 200 cases made.

The
Porter-Bass Vineyard is located on the hillsides of Gueneville.
The original vines are over 80 years old and produce extraordinary
fruit. The wine is deep ruby in color with intense aromas of blackberry
jam, cherries, and pepper. Our Zinfandel was Grand Champion of the
2000 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, beating out 2,175
other wines!

Our
Cabernet comes from two low-yielding, late-ripening vineyards in Sonoma
County and are grown without man-made chemicals. Deep
red-purple in color, it has aromas of tobacco, black plum, and cherry
syrup. Medium-full bodied with flavors of black currant, fresh dill,
and toasty oak. It finishes with notes of smoke, tannin, and dried
cranberries. |
